Here's another free cross stitch pattern of a character from the hit anime and manga Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World. This pattern is of Beatrice and her favorite "bubby" Puck. This one is set in her library she guards. This was not an easy one to match colors for. For some reason when I do the anime ones when I pick scenes instead of just character silhouettes it is harder to make the patterns for. I guess it's just all that detail they put into the shows that we don't always notice while watching. Either way, I am happy with the end result of this one and I hope you will be happy with it as well.
This pattern was designed to be stitched on 14 count Aida cloth and uses 28 different DMC floss colors. I know, I know...28 is a lot...but it is a beautiful piece when it is finished. It is totally worth the headache! the finished pieces dimensions are as follows (width x height): 11.86" x 13.0", 166 x 182 stitches, 30.12cm x 33.02cm. It is definitely a time consuming pattern and a bit intricate in areas but the finished piece is breathtaking in my humble opinion. If by chance you have some ideas for free cross stitch patterns you want to see on this blog, send me a message or leave a comment. Chances are I already have it made and haven't posted it yet. If that's not the case I'll gladly take the time to make one for here that you can use. Also, I will be making a tutorial post sometime this week for how to cross stitch. More than likely if you are here for patterns you already know how to cross stitch, but it could be some of you stumbled here by chance. If that is the case keep an eye out for the tutorial. Cross stitching is relaxing and fun to do. It's one of the few chances in life we have to legally stab something over and over as well. Cross stitch humor...am I right??
